| - Holy deliciousness. I came here for the breakfast pot pie, and was sold on the pancakes and cocktails. Let me back up... the breakfast pot pie was good, but I wouldn't say it was 'great'. There was nothing wrong with it, it just had a few spices that don't match my tastes. Loved that it was in a puff pastry though, and that you get to choose the type of egg you want on top! Also, major bonus points at Snooze for being able to swap out different sides to customize your dish without it impacting the price- probably the best part about Snooze as a whole. I really wanted corned beef hash (which was A-MAZING) so I subbed out the regular hash browns for that instead.
Anyways, THE PANCAKES. I got a single blueberry danish pancake as a side to my pot pie, and oh my gosh I wish I had gotten a full stack. Normally, when you get sweetly flavored pancakes, they are super, supppppper sweet - you can hardly taste the pancake underneath. This was not the case at all at Snooze. This was the fluffiest, tastiest buttermilk pancake with a delicious light and sweet lemon cream cheese filling. The streusel, sweet cream, and blueberry topping are lightly drizzled over the top. No overkill at all - the perfect light enhancement to the delicious buttermilk of the pancake.
For beverage, if you don't get the mountain mule, you are severely missing out. This might have been the best breakfast cocktail I've ever had in my life, and I'm a big fan of brunch, so thats saying A LOT.
I will DEFINITELY be making Snooze a regular in my brunch rotation... I may even go back next weekend.
