| - We enjoyed our stay here as part of a family vacation to Montreal. It wasn't perfect, but there certainly weren't the problems that some of the other reviewers experienced. Here are some strengths and weaknesses:
Strengths:
1. Location - very central, within walking distance to Old Montreal, the Palais-de-Congres, Sainte-Catherines shopping, Peel/Mountain, etc.
2. Clean, spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. I slept well.
3. Excellent wifi for free - fast enough for Netflix, and other streaming services.
4. Nice lobby space and hotel restaurant.
5. Nice gym with plenty of cardio equipment (although very light on the weight-training equipment).
6. Nice pool and hot tub, with lifeguard present during regular hours (good for the kids).
Weaknesses:
1. Noise - since this is in the heart of downtown Montreal, there was plenty of city noise like sirens, construction. Bring ear plugs.
2. Expensive parking ($28/day), although it was convenient with elevators going directly to underground parkade.
Overall, a decent stay for our vacation!
