| - This is a really cool looking restaurant and sweet shop, with a killer location (right on the strip with a view of the Bellagio fountain show) But there are some issues.
1) It can be incredibly slow. Even if you come at a time that isn't packed (which is most of the time) it takes what seems to be too long to get your food for what you order. On this most recent visit I was alone and ordered a sandwich and it look about 30 minutes.
2) Price. This place is wicked expensive for what it is. The food is good, but not amazing. But apparently you are paying for atmosphere and location because my simple sandwich was $16.
Drinks can get out of control too if you stray away from anything other than iced tea or sodas. A milkshake can run $8-10 or more depending on what you put in it. And their cocktails are ridiculous. Most are $15 or more, and if you order one of their goblets you're looking at $40!
As for the food quality, it's fine. My sandwich was a little dry, but tasty. The milkshake I has was expensive but awesome (bug chucks of peanut better and chocolate chucks). But you kind of expect their desserts to be better than the food with a name like Sugar Factory, right?
They have a massive dessert menu with incredible options. They are all crazy expensive as well ($5 for a small basic cake pop, $10 for a fancy decorated one) but I will say that each of the items I've had here so far have been really good, even though some are slightly too sweet or rich for my taste buds.
Bottom line: If you want great food, go elsewhere. If you want a fun place to have desserts and drinks, and don't mind paying extra for atmosphere, this is a great option.
