  • Great alternative to the Casino/Convention centric Mandalay Bay. While I also am a fan of Mandalay Bay, I tried Delano for a large convention I attended this week. Delano truly is a hotel and a very gracious and relaxing one at that. Rooms are nicely furnished, no smoking anywhere on the property and staff are very friendly and professional. It's marginally more expensive than Mandalay, but well worth it if you plan on spending several days in Las Vegas and stay sane through the process.
