  • I was definitely underwhelmed. I was expecting something sort of unique, and well, ostrich-themed, and what I saw was a diet County Fair. Overpriced greasy carnival food, and where were the ostriches?! I did find them, tucked into an enclosed area in a corner pretty far from the rest of the event. It seemed like not a lot of people knew they were over there. The good: Although I missed it, I heard the Spin Doctors performed - that would have been nostalgic to see. The Spot (pizza & waffles), who are very friendly vendors that put out some good eats. The dogs + frisbees show is probably the highlight of this festival as far as entertainment goes.
