  • BEWARE!!! OF $18 A DAY FOR FIVE DAYS BOARDING COSTS TURNING INTO $900 MEDICAL TREATMENT without being told you're incurring these costs or given options. COMPLETELY TOOK ADVANTAGE!!! My daughter's dog was taken for boarding while she went out of the country. She didn't leave him with me because earlier this year he was diagnosed with diabetes and needed insulin shots and I don't know how to give them. While she was gone, I got a couple of calls from Vince Cacciabaudo regarding the dog's status,and his treatment. NOT ONCE did he ask permission to give expensive tests or procedures, gave options, or gave me the price of the treatment. I had no indication whatsoever until the day before my daughter's return that the bill for the dog's four day stay was over $700. She came back the following day, by this time the bill was almost $900. My daughter left thinking she was paying $18 a day. Then when she comes back we find out the dog wasn't even on insulin in which case, he could have stayed with me.
