| - I've been coming here for a year now. After moving to Phoenix 3 years ago, it took me a while to find a consistently great place for mani/pedis. I'm pretty picky when it comes to shelling out $40+ for pampering.
First of all, you need to ask for Kelly. She's one of the few nail techs that speaks English very well and she does amazing work! I like my toes to be a certain length and shape, and I cannot stand hard massages on my calves and she delivered on this without me even telling her. Unfortunately I came here on a few occasions before my experience with her and the older gentlemen were very rough (pounding the bottom of the feet, pressing very hard on your "pressure points", etc). Thank god I had her otherwise I wouldn't have lasted much longer at this salon. ANYWAY, I opted for the deluxe pedi and it was well worth the money. The scrub felt wonderful, and the hot stones/towel were soothing. She did such a fabulous job, I risked an eyebrow wax too. FINALLY I found a girl that could keep my shape and wax to perfection! I went even further and asked for a gel mani....amazing. She can do it all!....except for acrylic nails. Which is okay because there is another lady who is the best in Phoenix that I've found. I will get her name asap and leave it here. Kelly also knows I enjoy silence more than small talk and is totally respectful of that. I can fully relax here!
I would highly recommend avoiding the lady who runs the front desk. She will sometimes do mani's but is always VERY distracted and does not do a good paint job. I've heard she's good at acrylic but I wouldn't even risk it.
The reason for 4 stars is because even though I've found Kelly and the other acrylic lady, there are many nail techs I would NOT want to service me. But the space is clean, the color selection is endless, and the 20% off check-in offer is cool.
Give this place a try and ask for KELLY!
