  • Oh, how I love REI. This is the only REI I have ever been to, so I don't have anything to compare it to. But I love it! Their selection is great. I've purchased everything hear from running clothing, a fitbit, yeti, sports nutrition, water bottles, headphones... They have it all. And what I love is that their selection is good but not overwhelming - they carry the best of the best so it's easy to digest and make a decision. Plus their staff is super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I'm also a member of REI and a great perk is access to their garage sales. They have a great return policy and will take back almost anything - so then they have garage sales to sell all the returned stuff at super low prices. You have to get there early but you can find some awesome deals. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is the parking, which is a general problem in the Southside Works. However - there is a parking garage nearby that has free parking on weekends as long as you're there for an hour or less. So that's a huge help!
