  • Absolutely delicious!!! I come to Charlotte regularly on business trip and this is my absolute favorite restaurant! First off the food is incredible. Fresh, well executed, and very tasty. But moreover, the restaurant is entirely non-profit, with all profits being donated. The restaurant is also staffed by employees who have all been given a second chance in life. Now as for the food, my coworkers and I tried almost all of their appetizers, with the sweet potato bread and jalapeño hush puppies being our favorite. For an entree, I had the shrimp and grits, and can definitely see why they're known for this dish. Get it! Don't think about it. Just get it! As for dessert, I had the sweet toffee cake with gelato. It was a great way to end the meal. Not too sweet,the ice cream was all melt, and when the melted ice cream mixed with the toffee, heaven!!
