| - **UPDATE** I finally filed a complaint with the AZ Registrar of Contractors because after dealing with this for 2 years, I'm all out of patience. Much to my surprise, I've learned that my complaint is not the only one outstanding with the Registrars office against this company. Yesterday (3/22) was the absolute deadline for them to come out to make repairs. I received an email at 5:40pm on 3/21 informing me they would be over around 1pm. I don't know why I'm surprised.... but everything that should have been addressed and repaired was not. And the work they did do was TERRIBLE. If you want a company that does not provide quality customer service or work and takes ZERO pride in their work, then Joseph's Coat Paining is the company for you!! Good luck. I hope no one else has to go through the mess we've had to deal with for the last 2 years.
I echo the review on 12/6/17 and 1/9/18. We had our house painted about a year or so ago from Joseph's coat. Like others, our initial meeting went very well and we agreed to sign a contact and work with them. Thankfully, at the time, my husband was working from home and offered direction more than once to the crew to ensure they were right in what they were doing. The paint job wasn't the best. They painted the inside of the garage but just painted over cracks and stickers on the wall from the garage door opener - rather than filling cracks and removing stickers.
Originally they didn't paint the stem wall of the house and after many failed attempts, they finally returned to paint it. The owner, Brian, promised THREE different times to come over and inspect the job and NEVER showed up. He never even had the decency to call/text to reschedule.
Additionally, we noticed spots that were missed and not completely painted. Not to mention they made a mess during the process.... rocks, sidewalks, and our walk way to the front door all had been sprayed with paint. Overall it was just a sloppy job.
A couple of months after the job was done, the edging (that they replaced) around our garage cracked. Again, several emails later and Brian said they would be by to fix it and that it was a quick and easy fix. That communication was sent March of 2017.... it still has not been replaced in January of 2018.
The paint is now peeling off of the front of our wall (that faces the street). I emailed him last week and he said he would send someone out to check it out - and to replace the edging around the garage. A week later and I have heard nothing. I emailed him again this morning and have not received a response.
I'm so beyond frustrated at this point because I don't know what else to do. I don't think we're demanding customers, simply want what we've paid for and what their "warranty" guarantees. They do a great job of reeling you and they seem wonderful at the beginning but the truth is they are a complete nightmare.
I wouldn't allow them to paint my house for free if they offered.
