  • I used Ideal Energy for insulation and duct work and was incredibly impressed with the quality of service, honesty, as well as their comprehensive approach to finding a solution that will be the best outcome for the customer (not just what will make them the most money or be easiest to push onto a customer). The fact that they deal with both insulation and AC allows them to treat the problem of cooling/heating your home as a whole, and avoiding the "blame game" of some AC or insulation companies who like to cast the problem on one another. The energy audit team did an incredibly thorough investigation of what it is that is causing any problem and then offered me a number of options to improve the efficiency (and in the middle of an AZ, the livability) of my home. The process is not just hidden wizardry with a big price tag at the end, but a scientific and logical approach that the auditors were more than willing to explain in laymen's terms to me. The work I had done was conducted professionally and with care to detail uncommon in modern tradesmen. I could tell that the crew worked as a team and took pride in their work (by taking the time to test the results of their work with the same equipment utilized by the auditors). I would recommend Ideal Energy to anyone who is interested in getting the very best energy efficiency out of their home (which should be anyone that likes their hard earned money). They are no nonsense, professional, excellent value, and take pride in getting the job done right the first time unlike all the other "wham bam" contractors out there.
