  • I have never been treated so badly by a doctor's office on an initial phone call. I was two days away from my missed period when I took the positive home pregnancy tests. Being new to the area with my obgyn in Scottsdale Im trying to find a new doctor. I called to schedule an appointment and the receptionist was so unbelievably rude. I realize that doctor's typically won't see you until you ate at least 7 weeks but God doctor's are hard to schedule they usually schedule out so I figured I'd call early to ensure I could see the doctor. She actually told me that I might not be pregnant and that she wouldn't schedule me. She told me to wait a week and call back. Now she had no way of knowing this but I miscarried five months ago. To have a RECEPTIONIST who is NOT a medical professional not only refuse to schedule you which is her sole job but to hand out her "medical" opinion is just plain wrong. I called back a couple days later to speak to the office manager because I was so upset at how I was treated. I left a message and never heard back. I tried not to let it reflect the doctor because for all I know she is amazing but her front end staff is ruining her practice. This practice clearly does not care about it's patients our potential patients if they are letting people like that run their front office and handing out first impressions like that. I am appalled...I would totally see this doctor...if she got rid of her rude front office staff.
