Entered through the secret entrance, which was very interesting and surprising. The restaurant itself is dimly lit and has a classic Italian restaurant vibe. There was live piano and singer.
We had reservation but still had to wait for half an hour for our table. We were seated right next to entrance and kitchen. It was stuffy and kinda smoky, not the best seats.
Loved the complimentary bread.
Got shrimp scampi for appetizer and it was the best! The sauce was buttery and garlicky. I could eat this everyday!
Pasta comes with salad or soup. Duck soup was great.
The chef sleeps with fish pasta: disappointing. Pasta was overcooked and bland. I added a lot of salt and still couldn't save it. Ended up only eating the shrimps.
Meatball: enjoyed the sauce. Meatballs decent.
Veal parm with pasta: bf loved it. I liked the pasta more than veal cuz the sauce was sooooo delicious!
Lava cake: kinda spongy n didn't melt very well in the middle. Next time I wanna try tiramisu.
