  • So yesterday, a little after 3 pm, after working 3 night shifts in a row, I awoke in a panic realizing that I had completely forgotten my mother's birthday. I live near L.A., she lives in Surprise. I searched flower shops in her area, called 3, they were either closed already or unable to help. I called Sun City Florists and a lovely woman named Janice answered. I explained my dilemma and asked if there was anyway I could get a delivery that afternoon. After speaking for a moment with the other pert at the store, she came back and said if I chose something already put together, they could do it. She described several of the bouquets available, I chose one, added a balloon and a note and paid. Less than 2 hours later, my mother received a beautiful bouquet, that she has called me twice to thank me for. She said the delivery man was lovely and even carried then inside for her as the bouquet was large and he noticed her wrist was in a splint. Now I can't guarantee that they would always be able to do this, but I know who I will be calling next time I want to send flowers to my mom. Thanks again Janice for making me look like the thoughtful daughter!!!
