  • Saw doctor Klimas with my 5th grader. Dr. Klimas is very old school, arrogant and judgemental. You feel like you are sitting with a grandparent saying, you know, when we raised kids back in the day... When I wasn't ready to jump into allergy shots today, which is not what I came in for, he became very judgmental and almost hostile. I could easily tell what his opinion of me at that point was. Everything else he said from that point on, he was practically rolling his eyes to say that if you aren't interested in signing up for shots twice a week for 5 years right this minute, then you are harming your child. Maybe we will do allergy shots at some point, but I don't need it shoved down my throat. He put my 5th grader on the spot and made him feel extremely uncomfortable. I heard all about his kids and grandkids private schools. He pressed play on a ten minute video about allergy shots when I said that is not what I was there for today. I could go on and on. I am hoping I can find someone else who does not make me leave feeling angry and frustrated. Time for Dr. Klimas to retire.
