  • I'm in Madison for business and have rented from this bike shop a couple of times and it's been fine. I've rented on the weekends and what's most disappointing is they charge you a full day for Sunday rental but they open at noon and close at 5pm. I asked if I could pick up the bike before they closed on Sat so I can get a full days usage on Sunday - the answer was a definite NO. Ok, so much for flexibility. Today I'm happy to tell you there's an option - Machinery Row Bicycles / 601 Williamson Street. They open at 10am Sunday and close at 6pm! The bike rental was also a little cheaper and they didn't put a $125 deposit on your credit card; (this is later reversed when the bike is returned). 8 hrs of bike rental on Sunday - at a slightly cheaper cost! Good deal!
