| - I came here for brunch on Sunday. The bar menu sounded fantastic with such unique options for bloody marys, I couldn't wait to arrive.
I ordered a dill pickle and jalapeƱo infused vodka bloody. The server came back with a glass of ice and vodka. I didn't realize it was a make your own, interactive thing. That was really fun and my garnishes were real out of control. The vodka on its own was really delicious, and so was the final drink.
My date ordered the morning mule which tasted fantastic with the fresh ginger and prosecco. This is officially my 2nd favorite mule of all time.
We then ordered the kimchi bloody which was good and the seelbach, which was fantastic and knocked me on my A.
To eat, I ordered the burger, sans bun. I didn't want fries so I asked for salad mix or a vegetable and I was advised there was nothing like that on the brunch menu and no, I could not have it. Seriously, not a single vegetable to be had. Odd, and highly disappointing. The burger was ok, though the condiment choices did not make sense to me. One was ketchup and one was a pink mayo based chunky sauce of sorts. Neither enhanced my burger and in fact, both took away from the burger. Maybe a grainy mustard or an au jus or something more appropriate.
My date ordered chicken and waffles and literally it was a huge waffle with 5 boned chicken parts. Totally not what he expected, considering you basically had to eat the chicken with your hands and part of chice and waffles is covering the whole thing with maple syrup... It was a complete mess and very uncomfortable looking. He advised it tasted good, after I let him know it's not his fault if he left looking like a 2 year old with food all over himself.
All-in-all, the experience was ok. They def make one great cocktails. The food left a bit to be desired.
