| - Everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. was perfect about this dining experience. Our original plan was to go to Sen. but when passing Naked Fish, and remembering our superb dining experience almost two years ago (we moved away and have since come back to the area) we abruptly made u-turn to enjoy this atmosphere.
First, the view. From any booth you can see the entire strip. For non-Vegas local, this is a mesmerizing view - and it's a clear one - Stratosphere to Luxor.
Second, the warm greetings. Very friendly. Asked where we would like to sit, instead of traditional table herding.
Third, quick service to provide drinks. Their sake menu was amazing. Everything was color coded and classed and easy to read. With much experience in sake, I could easily say this would be great for rookies.
Fourth, excellent menu. We dined to the point of gluttony.
Kobe beef tataki with garlic chips - amazing!
Negi toro roll - melts in your mouth
Organic miso soup - best I've had
Organic miso with clams - SO had, three large clams included
Nigiri variety (Japanese uni, chu toro, salmon belly, hamachi belly, tuna, halibut)
Two rolls (sunset - the best roll I've ever had in my life, soft shell crab)
Then dessert. SO got the strawberry sorbet and I got the green tea creme brûlée (favorite dessert ever) with fresh whipped cream and a surprise scoop of strawberry sorbet.
Not a cheap date night ($180 with sake bottle, but tons of great food). But well well worth the money. Served an excellent celebration of moving back to Las Vegas.
