  • I must be going crazy but I'm giving a paint store 5 star! I am re-painting my condo and I decided it to do it myself. After an afternoon of guidance and tips from my dad, I felt somewhat prepared. I yelped to locate a paint store nearby and was surprised to find something in the central downtown core. I fully expected this to be some kind of fru-fru posh paint shop, but when I arrived it was obvious I was completely wrong. Stepping into Rotblott's is like being transported to a small village hardware store. It's full to the brim with home reno items, with paint stuff upstairs. Everything is really reasonably priced. What's even better is the staff - mostly 20s something handy guys who don't try to upsell you. The paint guy suggested I check out the $5.99 gallons of paint to see if there was any colour that would suffice, vs mixing me a can for $21.99. Was really impressed that they didn't try to get more money from me. 5% discount if you like their facebook page. I will definitely be back here!
