  • HORRIBLE "service" and very poor attitude of the owner Lou. I brought my 2000 Porsche to have the convertible top replaced with a quality part I bought myself. The installation was only 90% acceptable, there were openings near the frame on both sides, Lou claimed it was "cheap" part I bought despite initially saying it was "excellent" brand when I brought the car and part in. I told Lou I will get a second opinion and if I can get the issues resolved, then I am coming back to sort out the charges. He said: "GO AHEAD!" with a very snobby tone of voice, and implied it's defective part that I bought. I went to another shop who fixed the poor installation issues after 4 hours of work, charged me $350, which is half of what Lou charged me for the botched work. I also noticed many scuff marks on the convertible frame that were not there in the pictures I took just before I dropped off the car at Enco, not too surprising since I later saw his staff using metal tools prying against the cars being worked on which were not protected with masking tape etc. When I returned to Enco asking Lou to refund me for the repair to the botched job his staff performed, he completely loses it, threatened me, swore profanities at me, refused to refund me the amount to repair the issues caused by his shop. Eventually I left recognizing I am just wasting my time dealing with this very poor minded business owner, who does not seem to care the poor on-line reviews I will be writing is worth refunding me $350. BTW, the shop that repaired the issues is a well known shop called New Images Interiors (416)752-0883 at Midland and Lawrence area in Scarborough, I should have gone there in the first place. It was an ugly and costly experience for me no thanks to Lou and Enco, don't make the same mistake as I did!!!!
