  • My fiancé dined here a few days back. When we entered we were expecting to be told we needed reservations or kitchen is closing down, etc. BUT the hostess was really nice & said right this way immediately. Great first impression for my picky fiancé. We were seated & our server came over quickly & got us waters & my fiancé ordered his usual ice tea but sweetened ice tea. The server did let him know that they didn't have any sweetened tea but instead brought & made sure Michael had LOTS of sugar so he could self sweeten his tea to his own liking. We ordered the calamari & shrimp - WOW - just so good that I could just eat it all day - everyday - perfection. I also ordered some french onion soup - I'm VERY picky on my french onion soup... it was very good BUT I really love it when it's oozing provolone cheese & all melted... sadly this wasn't quite the case but still excellent.. I just really love the cheese part... this was the biggest bummer. The server was excellent with his service, he didn't rush us nor was he overbearing & pestering. He was a perfect balance of helpful & attentive. Our food came!! YAY!!! Michael ordered the lamb burger & when he took that first bite I could've swore he was going to pass out of HOW GOOD it was. He basically squealed with glee over it.... did I mention that Michael doesn't typically squeal with glee over anything.... let alone a burger???!!! I got the crab cake - it was fabulous. We did end up leaving earlier than anticipated because I was feeling a little under the weather - I was in the sun all day so I think I got a little too much of good thing. All in all, we really enjoyed our time here & will definitely come back soon.
