  • I know a lot of y'all love this place. I'm sorry but I cannot jump on the bandwagon. I'm an Alabama girl and I know good soul food. This isn't it. Every time I've been here the food has been over seasoned and over cooked. For example, crab cakes are not supposed to be black and hard on the bottom. I will say that I like the corn bread and some of the desserts like the peach cobbler. The service is also very good. And the servers were super cool every time I went. I just wish the food was better so I could rave about this place like the rest of you.
