  • A few years back I finally gave in and got my first pair of glasses. They were progressives & I had an awful time with them, in the end I was mostly using them as some very expensive readers. Now that it was time for my children to have their first real eye exam I figured I would give a new doctor a try. Dr. Wong is incredibly patient. Finding the correct prescription for me didn't turn out to be that difficult - fitting me for contacts, now that was another story! By the time we were done her work space was covered with the tiny packets that the contacts come in! To make matters worse as much as I wanted to learn how to use contacts I had quite a time with the whole "eye open & look ahead" part! But she kindly & gently just kept putting them on & off until she found just the right combo! They wouldn't let me leave until I could put them in & take them out on my own, it was a struggle but I did it! My daughter is happy she won't be needing glasses anytime soon & my son is way too excited that he has 20/15 vision! Our thanks to the entire staff at Nevada Eye! Fingers crossed I'll be seeing you next week for that follow up & not later tonight! Wish me luck folks, I'm to do my first solo contact removal! Lol!
