Boarded our 2 very small dogs together for a week. The charges were explained to us and a price sheet was given to us. They even circled prices and wrote notes on the page. But when we showed up they said it was twice what showed on the sheet. And there were hidden charges not showing up anywhere. The staff seemed clueless and claimed they couldn't do anything about it. I insisted to speak with the owner who was not there. Finally, they got her on the phone and we went around and around for half an hour. I think having an irate dog owner on her lobby around other customers was the only reason she finally waived the clearly incorrect charges. Not because she felt bad or anything. Not to mention the dogs looked like they had been in a prison camp for a week. One had obviously been throwing up and was a mess. We had to take her to a vet the next day. I have to wonder why Doggie District never made any effort to call us about the sick dog. I was so soured by our experience, I will never go back.
