  • Wow what an awesome surprise. I was trying to figure out where to eat at Mandalay bay and somehow ended up deciding on Fleur. I've passed Fleur many times and for whatever reason it doesn't jump out at you as a place that makes you want to eat there. Well, if you haven't eaten there then you should. My wife and I ordered the tasting 5 or 6 course meal. I wanted to sample the menu a bit so I would have a feel for this place. Every single thing was very well prepared. From the grilled octopus, to the stuffed peppers, to the delicious skirt steak. It was on point. The thing that really stood out for me though was the service. It was perfect. Absolutely perfect. Not chatty, not uptight, not phony, and not goofy. When we would finish a course at the precise time that something should come out it would magically right on time be brought to the table. They changed utensils after each course. They brought drinks right on time. There was no waiting and no rush. Perfect. The only regret I have is not remembering our servers name. I know it was a woman. I know when I go back I will walk in see if I spot her and then ask to sit in her area. Great food and great service.
