  • When I opened up the ratings for the salon on yelp I was surprised at the low ratings! A girlfriend referred me here and I've been going for almost a year... I had tried about four or five other nail salons in the Waxhaw, Weddington & Marvin area and been disappointed with all of them! Now most nail salons will give you a decent pedicure, but I have solar nails (pink and white acrylic) and many places take an hour and a half to two hours to do this after I have sat waiting 20 minutes even with an appointment! This location I have NEVER had to wait, even without an appointment! They do a fantastic job EVERY time!!! Additionally, they can finish a full pink and white set in about an hour, for a fill it's between 45 minutes to an hour with the job very well done. It frustrates me that sometimes with other salons I would have to make an appointment, and then I sit and wait 15 to 20 minutes... Sometimes 30! And then they do an OK job, but it takes them over an hour and a half to finish. In which case, if I also want a pedicure I'm looking at 2 to 3 hours out of my day... Which is just plain ridiculous! One added thing I like about this location, is that I never feel like they are "pushing" anything... They don't tell you that you need to come every two weeks or that you need to have gel over regular polish. There are often times where my pink and white will last me 3 to 4 weeks, and they can give you extra white if you want it so you can do this... And they do not say a single thing or make you feel like you are a bad customer if you're not coming every two weeks. I've been to other salons were they suggest something to you and when you say no, you hear them talking to each other, and it's pretty obvious that they're saying something about you that's not very nice....nobody should ever assume that because you don't speak their language you can't understand what they are saying, body language & facial expressions tell more sometimes!
