  • While Dr. Mohajeri is quite competent his office staff is beyond atrocious. My partner and I initially had a great experience with them, though their receptionist did like to ignore people while having non-work related conversations on the phone. What we found over time however was that the problems went far beyond the obvious. Things you wouldn't notice until you've been going there a while or require a major procedure. They like to cancel and reschedule your appointments. It happens sometimes anywhere but this happened with a high frequency. One day in particular they called and told, not asked, me that they had rescheduled my appointment and needed me to come in the next day. I had my hands full and couldn't immediately update the calendar on my phone and I may have gotten the time wrong. When I showed up they didn't say a word but then billed me a $50 missed appointment fee. I explained what had happened. Even pointed out that if I had called to change my appointment with less than 24 hours notice like they did they would have charged me the missed appointment fee. They didn't care and treated me like a thief, even shooting me dirty looks every time I came in. How dare I point out their hypocrisy. Just as a side note, this was after I had already given them thousands of dollars for procedures and invisilign. My partner needed a procedure for a dental implant. For months the office staff kept promising that they had submitted the claim to the insurance company for approval and for months the insurance company said they had never received anything from the dentist. Trying to discuss the matter with the office staff resulted in the same attitude problem I experienced. My partner is an incredibly laid back, level headed person but the entire drama around this left him so angry he stopped going even though he needed the procedure. I've since switched dentists and I'm getting much better service. I've been to a lot of dentists over the years. I'm actually a dentist's gold mine. I've got bad teeth. In my experience while Dr. Mohajerji is average to above average his office staff create so many problems and he himself treated me like I was crazy when I mentioned my experiences with them. After looking on multiple review sites I've noticed that I am by far not the only person who had experiences like this. Additionally, while one of the hygienist is great, the other one isn't just unpleasant but dangerously incompetent and a real pain to be around, literal. Until the Dr can get his house in order I would strongly suggest steering clear of Ari Dental. There are a lot of options in the neighborhood and quite a few of them are all around better. Ari Dental is a used car dealership. They don't care how they screw you over, just so long as they can squeeze the maximum amount of money out of you and make you feel like crap.
