  • I'm honestly appalled at how I was treated here. My boyfriend and I are doing a whole house renovation and have been shopping around for doors and baseboard. Being 23 and 24, we are on a tight budget which is the ONLY reason I purchased from this place. They had an awesome deal going on for baseboard. If I had the extra twenty cents, I would have bought from Classic. My first complaint comes from the guy behind the desk. I didn't get his name but he was an older gentleman. He seemed annoyed by me. I misheard my boyfriend when he said we needed 550 L/F. I'm used to everything being in sq ft for our renovation so when I saw that it was sold by L/F I asked him how you would convert it to sq ft? He rolled his eyes at me and answered in a condescending tone. I eventually realized he measured in L/F. Man behind the counter seemed even more annoyed. Told him I needed 550 L/F and 25 corner pieces. He asked when I wanted it delivered and I told him his soonest. He wrote down the day and pointed to it and said is that okay. I looked at it and said yes that's perfect. He then stared at me blankly and I said I guess you want a payment right. He said that would help. I'm sorry? You can't use your words? I am a paying customer. I just bought products from you after YOU were condescending to me. My second complaint is for another guest who was next to me. When I was figuring out the L/F Sq Ft deal he laughed at me and when he was confronted about it he said oh no I'm laughing because that's something I would do. He then laughed again at something else and the guy behind the counter not once said anything about him minding his business. They have great prices but it's not worth being belittled. After the encounter, I decided to take my business to Classic and order almost $800 worth of doors from them that Avanti could have had if they had treated me better. If you want cheap prices that come with horrible customer service, go here. If you want to be treated with respect, go to Classic. Robb was amazing and helped me and answered all my questions respectively without belittling me.
