I'm still not sure why people choose to spend so much money here. I've shopped at Diana's intermittently over a few decades and have never really been very impressed. I find their price point high for the quality of seafood you get.
When I used to live in Woodbridge, there were a few other seafood depots that served up comparable quality seafood at half the price. Not that price should really be a deciding factor when you're talking about fresh seafood but I find it irksome that people blindly trust shops like this to carry the best just because they charge top dollar.
I've bough fish, oyster, lobsters...etc and they've all been ok. Not outstanding. Now that I'm older and more discerning, I'd rather spend my money in specialty shops that do a few things really well, like Star Lobster and Taro's fish.
So good-bye, Diana's. I'm moving on to greener pasture.
