My 3 children attended this preschool for 12 years when it was a co-op. We joined the church because it was so supportive to families. This is where I learned to be a parent, from the teachers and other parents. I worked with teacher Cari in the church and with Nola at ANLC. They are great educators! Now that my kids are out of college, I can look back and really appreciate the way the school helped them become self motivated learners and helped them develop their brains by interacting with the real world, not work sheets or video games. My kids are leaders and work well in groups and they learned to do that in preschool. The teachers took the time to help them learn to communicate socially and emotionally. They learned to be kind. The description of Regio teaching reminds me of this http://www.edutopia.org/stw-project-based-learning-best-practices ... works with all ages! I am an artist and doing art in preschool is great exercise for the brain. Kids need more chances to create.
