| - I was in the area visiting family when my uncle said he'd be going to Michael Angelo's to pick up some Hungarian nut roll (my family is of Hungarian descent). I had never tried Hungarian nut roll before so I didn't know what to expect. Wow, was I in for a treat. He picked up a tray of nut roll and some apple strudel and brought them back for all to try. He also brought back a poppyseed roll, but I wasn't in the mood for getting a positive drug test at work over poppyseeds so I stuck with the nut roll and the strudel.
One week later, I'm still trying to figure out which I liked better, but they were both excellent. In fact, I liked them both so much, I had to make about a one hour round trip here for myself to see what else they had to offer. Unfortunately, my fellow Yelpers hadn't previously posted many pictures, so I did my due diligence, snapped a few photos and now I'm spreading the good word.
The place smells fantastic. They also sell decorative cookies, cakes, bread, coffee, etc., etc. Out of curiosity, I saw that the nut, strudel, and poppyseed rolls sell for $9 each, but as evidenced by the picture I posted, they're certainly not short changing you here.
By the way, one week later, I'm STILL eating the nut roll and it STILL tastes fresh.
