  • I want to love this restaurant. It is in a great location. The decor and atmosphere are excellent. The food was even mostly impressive (two out of our four meals were stellar; one was awful; the other was passable). There are so few inventive, original restaurants with vegetarian/vegan options, so please fix your problems and thrive! The service was absolutely lousy. I think we got the same male waiter listed by another reviewer. He would disappear for 15 minute blocks of time. It took him multiple promptings to refill a wine glass (this is a huge missed revenue opportunity for both the server and restaurant). I'm sure it was not all his fault. The food took forever to come out and there where few people in the restaurant. I wonder if the kitchen was struggling. It took 20 minutes for a cheese plate! The owner came out at one point but didn't seem to notice or care that one of us had not touched his "medium" burger that was raw. She didn't ask if everything was okay or question the uneaten food. Good restaurants notice these things and ask why. Otherwise you can guarantee you've got a table that will not return. I will come back and try again. I hope these problems are resolved and I can simply enjoy what should be an exemplary restaurant.
