| - I do Not recommend this place at all. I was discriminated against for having a service dog. My husband and I drive 9 hours from New Mexico, when we arrived at this hotel, it was evening time. We were checked in by EBONY. She was very rude when I told her we had a service dog. I have documentation, but have been traveling for 6 days and could not locate it. I called a family member and had them send it to me email. She asked to see my documentation and when I handed her a card from the American Act for people with disabilities , she rolled her eyes. She told me she will contact her manger and to step aside. I waited 25 minutes. I was also told by her , I could go to the hotel next door , if I didn't want to wait. When the manager finally called back and told her to check us in, that was wrong and I should not have waited. She sent us to the 3rd floor, with two queen beds. We had a reservation and an upgrade for 1 king. When I went downstairs to tell her, I walked up on her telling the maintenance man.."That Bitch, got away with having her dog." When she around and saw me, after the man pointed my way, she asked what I needed. I told her, I had a king bed, and she checked me into 2 queens. I was then told, sorry, that room was booked while you were waiting for permission to have your dog. I asked to speak to the manger , and her story quickly changed, to "oh that room was reserved for you" and I was given the key. I then went to room , feeling anxious, and embarrassed, I called corporate to file a complaint . The hotel manager called my room within a half an hour an apologized for EBONIS , rude behavior. My room was them comped., the manager was surprised with the customer service and he DOES know the law, regarding Americans with disabilities act. I will not return to this hotel ever, I have been an IHG member for 6 years and I travel quite often. I do not recommend this hotel ! There are many other hotels in the vicinity. I suggest You go to of them ! Thank you ETHAN for your understanding and I hope this NEVER happens to another guest.
