  • I have very mixed feelings about this place. I booked a large room 3 weeks ahead for 8:30 on a Saturday night. Booking the room was easy, I just called and they asked for an hour deposit for the reservation. The guy who helped me on the phone was very friendly and helpful. The day comes and half of my party and I arrive at 8:20. The owner Joe and an employee tell us that the room that we booked for 8:30 was not yet available and that we would have to wait until 9. No big deal, we were still waiting on a few people anyway. Turns out they had upgraded us to the VIP room which is much larger, and said we will just be charged for the large! This was much appreciated and we were having a great time. Our host (didn't catch his name) was cool and personable. He chatted with us quite a bit and was friendly and understanding, and would try to relate with us. It was a bit weird that he would come into our room randomly as we were singing and would just sit down with us, though. Made us a little uncomfortable. We started to order some food and drinks, and as our food came we noticed they brought us a bucket of some beers that we hadn't ordered. We automatically thought that it was on the house, since the guy who had helped us was super cool with us, we thought he might've hooked it up. Apparently this was our mistake. After we had drank the beers and realized one of the plates we ordered never came, our host had told us there was a switch-up and that it was supposed to be for a different room and that they ended up getting the food we ordered. This was also fine and we thought, "no big deal". We continued singing and ordered more food. This time their propane tank "blew up" and then we weren't able to order certain foods. This was a bummer but again we were understanding. As the night came to an end, we all went up to pay. I thought our experience overall was decent and that I would definitely come back again. But as we were paying, my boyfriend questioned the beers and why we were still charged for it knowing it was a mistake on their end. The owner, Joe, responded in a way that upset us and most especially my boyfriend. Instead of apologizing and explaining to us in a comforting matter, Joe immediately snapped and very rudely and condescendingly responded, "You drank them right? You still drank them, YOU should've returned them then." As if it was our fault that we didn't know that THEY made the mistake? We all felt very uncomfortable after he made that comment. That alone had left me shocked and is one of the main reasons why I have very mixed feelings about this place. Joe did help us out and accommodate us with a larger room, but he did not have to snap like that when his employees were the ones that messed up. For now, I will take my business to Q Karaoke.
