| - This is hands down the best place for Chinese Bbq meats in all of Greater Las Vegas. The one drawback is that the prices are, imo, way too high, inflated only because of greediness by the owners. (i.e. they can charge it and we will still go since they really don't have any competition in this town). They are opening a new branch on Spring Mountain soon, as I hear, but am unsure when. The place is always jam packed, and yet the service is quite good. So yeah, if you have no problems with paying $13 for a combo plate of 3 Chinese bbq meats (as compared with Boston's price of equal substance and quality at $7.50 ) then you must go here when you crave it in Las Vegas. The roast duck is excellent here as well, but again the price of $12 for half a duck and $24 for a whole duck is expensive even compared with Boston pricing. But for new transplants like myself from the Boston area, I have no choice!
The restaurant itself is tucked into a corner of the mall, across the street (Jones Blvd) from the famous Chinese supermarket 168, and is almost a typical hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant, but with super caring attentive staff running around in this madhouse of a restaurant. Again for first timers, beware that it is cash only and is closed for business on Fridays. Come and enjoy!!!!
