  • Do not send your pet here if you care for their well being. My dog got severely hurt. I made the mistake of sending my beloved dog here while I went out of town one too many times. I sent them here because it was close to my house and I thought the price was affordable and that they treated my pup well, unfortunately that is not the case. This is where the story gets rough. I was out on vacation and got a phone call that my dog has been hurt and they don't know how but you can see the bone from the top of his paw. My first immediate response is 'oh my god is he okay?' they say yes we bandaged it. I say have you taken him to the hospital? They say, well there is a 30 dollar fee for me to bring him to an animal hospital and on top of it. My first response is, holy shit. What if i was out of cell range? Are they going to just let my dog bleed out over 30 dollars? I say 'Please take him NOW. why are you even calling me?' I later ask after he gets checked into his vet how did this happen. The person on the phone tells me 'I don't know. He may have chewed it off'??? What the actual hell does that mean. My dog has never shown signs of hurting himself intentionally, why would a dog chew their own paw to the bone? At the time I didn't care for anything, I wanted my dog who I consider to be a full blown family member taken care of. Well, instead of worrying about my dog they tell me you are going to have to pay all these fees for taking them to the vet and on top of it 15 dollars for every 15 minutes they spend dropping your dog at the vet. Is taking your dog to the vet a money making scheme? You trust these people to care for your dog which is why you are paying them. The vet had to sedate the dog and give them 5 stitches in their foot. It cost me nearly 500 dollars and not only will they pay for none of it. They actually hounded me to come in and pay the money that I owe for boarding. The vet said the dog did not do this himself, he got it caught somewhere which means the run they board him is not appropriate for his size dog if he can get his paws stuck in it. Do yourself a favor and spend a few dollars more for a place that will look after your dog with the proper care they deserve and own up to their responsibility.
