I watched and rooted for Mat from his first audition on America's Got Talent until the final round and I was ecstatic when he won! So when I found out that he has a show in Vegas I had to jump at the chance to see him in person. Spoiler alert: I was NOT disappointed! :)
The theater is rather small, making it feel very intimate, not to mention you get to be somewhat up close to Mat himself.
His "tricks" really do seem like "magic" even with close up shots. I'm one of those annoying people who likes to guess, theorize, deduce, etc... Obviously I tried to figure out how his tricks can be done and most of the time I was left in awe and stunned! So yeah, kudos to you Mat for pulling the wool over my eyes...
Aside from the awesome magic tricks, Mat is a very funny and entertaining guy! Who knew! He was on the floor taking volunteers quite often and making witty jokes. His story telling was fantastic and very whimsical!
So I write all of this to say that I HIGHLY recommend anyone who loves magic, or Mat himself to check out this show. Just go in with an open mind, try not to be a know-it-all (like myself) and enjoy the show! You'll walk away entertained and impressed.
