  • AJ's is a great little gourmet grocery store chain. However, do not mistake it for being a high quality, sustainable store. It is essentially a very fancy Safeway. The selection of organic, gmo free food and produce is actually very minimal and they regularly stock non-sustainable seafood. That being said, there is always a wide variety of meat and seafood. They sell live lobster and have a great little sushi bar. They also have a great selection of craft beer. My favorite is the cafe portion of the store. Pretty tasty meals and snacks to go. I love it the iced tea.
