rev:text	I went in for a balayage and left with a full head of microlights reminiscent of Hillary Duff circa 2001. On top of that my hair was so dry I thought it would snap off at the slightest touch, whatever chemical free product they're claiming to use is just as damaging or even more damaging than the normal stuff. It looked awful. The cut and color were $178, after the foil came out I thought the "balayage" looked odd but just thought it was the way it was styled. I left, and called the next day to voice my concerns. They wanted to charge me full price to get it redone. The manager screamed at me, and I've had a few heated talks before but this lady went off like a rabid animal. She kept screaming (while I was talking), "YOU'RE GOING TO COME IN HERE, GET IT COLORED AND LEAVE WITH IT WET". Which I'm sure translates roughly to "F**** you". Honestly, if Satan himself did my hair while yelling obscenities and cursing my family, I'd still be a happy camper as long as it looked presentable. If that were the case I wouldn't be writing this review. I'm writing because my hair looks bad, really really bad, so bad I bought a hat to cover the mistake I made by going to Pure Salon. Summary: The products they use are not good for your hair, if you're trying to avoid severe damage-go someplace else. I'm almost $200 poorer and look like a little girl who just got her first color from Cost Cutters. They are not experienced colorists, their techniques are outdated and it really shows in your color. The manager is possibly the least qualified human alive to have a customer oriented job, and from other reviews I can see I'm not the only person to be graced by her uhm...unique personality. Expect to pay an additional $20 for a hat to cover the embarrassing hair color you just received.
