  • I stopped in during one of their free open houses, as a total newbie....and I had a great time! The instructor was patient and attentive, alternating between giving tips and giving you space to just feel it out and practice for a bit. Throwing an axe was both easier and harder than I expected - easy to get started but difficult to get consistently good at. They also have a nice space to just hang out with a beer (full cash bar available!), billiards, fuseball, and a couple arcade games. It was fun to both throw axes and to watch the staff throw bullseyes effortlessly. I also tried the bigger, heavier axe, which was fun and mildly terrifying. Will definitely be back to practice some more!
