  • 3 years ago I purchased furniture for my entire house. I thought I'd go to La-z-boy because I thought they had quality products. The sales staff were great. Even talked me into getting the extended warranties on the wood and sofas. Well, before the sofas were even a year old, they started falling apart. One had the support beams snap and the other had the arm rest lose the shape. La-z-boy sent someone out to repair the one sofa and they wouldn't do anything for the other because they said it was "wear and tear". Crazy that sofas less than a year old have these problems, right. Well my sofas are three years old and the support frame on the one sofa has broken three times. I called La-z-boy to say that the sofa should have been replaced. It is obviously a defective sofa. They take no responsibility. Say that I have to go through the extended warranty company. I told them that I've had issues from the beginning and that they should be held accountable. They say no. I asked to speak with a manager and no one called me back. So, save yourself some money. Buy your furniture somewhere else.
