  • What, why doesn't 5Church have higher ratings here on Yelp?! Yes, the prices are higher than many CLT restaurants, but you get what you pay for. Plus, a place like this would be even more expensive in NYC, so, for us it was a steal. First off, the staff are totally lovely. Really a genuinely friendly and attentive group of people. As a customer, you feel valued and welcome. Interior is comfortable and clean with hip, quirky decor. As for the food, we were very satisfied. 5Church is clearly using fresh, high end ingredients. The fish does not taste fishy, the lamb does not taste gamy, vegetables are served at their peak flavor/freshness. I mentioned that yesterday was my birthday and the staff went out of their way to help me celebrate! We had a fantastic time at 5Church and would certainly visit again!!
