Mmmmmm, chocolate (totally read that in a Homer Simpson voice)
I went here on a Tuesday, and even with the wonderful, yummy tasting hot Choklat I was a bit disappointed that that was pretty much the only option to indulge in.
There were no baked goods just signs enticing your taste buds for products like brownies and macaroons. I know the owner was saying it is slow during the week and then picks up from Thursday to Sunday. During those peak times there are more options for things to eat.
The drink were lovely! So rich and decadent. I enjoyed the personal touches like the blue whipped cream and the story of how Choklat came into existence. The drink menu had a good selection. I had the hazelnut drink (I can't remember the fun name--which all the drinks had) I also ordered the truffles which were divine. You can customize it with a great selection for each part of it. I pretty much inhaled mine so I'll have to go back and get another, or dozen, to provide a better description. Yesss, that'll be my excuse to eat more. But I will say this, if the truffles are any indication of the rest of the baked goods then your stomach will be delighted.
So other than not having a selection to appease the food part of my tummy, I would go back. I think if Choklat added more decor (it feels kinda empty) it would be a really unique place to chill, go on a date or simply enjoy the culture of cafes.
