Crooks. And worse, the property is a worn out dump. Smells bad. Moldy bath area. Damaged tiles and filthy carpeting. I urge anyone reading this to stay away. I booked woodbine suites through Expedia and paid for it that way. When I arrived I noticed the lobby and outside areas looked a little dirty and creepy with men hanging around outside so I asked to see the room before I signed in. Glad I did because it was tiny. Since I was staying a week on business I asked about an upgrade. After 20 minutes of waiting the clerk offered me an upgraded room which was larger for an extra price. The upgrade was to cost $100 as opposed to around $89 which I already paid to Expedia. I agree to pay the extra $11 per night. One week later when I checked out they handed me a bill for $700 which was on top of what I already paid Expedia. The clerk said I needed to rake my issue to Expedia since they booked the room. Expedia says they've been trying to reach the manager to get a refund but more than a month has gone by and they have not been able to reach him and they do not have a resolution yet. This place is a dump - it's a worn out property and the owners or managers should go to jail for double charging people.
