  • Really underrated hotel and exceeded all my expectations! After staying at the Red Rock, I can tell understand why the resort has been gaining a lot of popularity. The resort itself is a massive, sprawling city center on its own. We all really enjoyed the Summerlin area in which its located. Everything is spacious and wide open and you really have every avenue of commercial business covered. In their plaza adjoining the resort and casino you can find the top commercial restaurants. Across the street you'll find a tremendous shopping center. Location is key when you're visiting Vegas and Red Rock in Summerlin is basically 10-15 minutes away from the Strip. It really does not feel that far and so the location of Red Rock is actually ideal. It is far enough in the quaint area of Summerlin for peace of mind but also close that you're a short ride to the chaos. You'll also be able to see the Red Rock Canyon Park in the distance from the resort. One thing you can't convey in a review is just how gigantic the Red Rock Resort is in size. They feature an IMAX theater and a massive 72 lane bowling alley on the same property. The room itself is very modern. Our room on the thirteenth floor overlooked the pool and was a fantastic view. The beds have an abundance of pillows and are comfortable and spacious. Their fitness center is also not to be missed. They have state-of-the-art fitness equipment and actual good fitness machines and accessories. They go beyond just dumbbells and cardio machines. You'll find kettlebells and all kinds of things you need to make your workout top notch. I really think their fitness center is loads better than most hotel/resort gyms and I've seen a spectrum from dingy motel "gyms" to exceptional luxury gyms at the Wynn/Encore. There are two areas (east and west lots) to park for the massive Red Rock property. We ended up just utilizing the Valet and they were johnny-on-the-spot in getting our car. I really have to commend the customer service at the Red Rock. Every employee was very polite and attentive. If you're looking for a hotel experience off the strip, I think the Red Rock should be at the top of your list. I liked it and will be back!
