Went here without a reservation and was told that we could have a table but would have to leave in two hours as there was a reservation later. Good thing we got the table because for the entire time we were there, other people would walk in and be turned away for not having a reservation as all the tables were taken. Kind of ridiculous.
Anyway, the menu is tiny and the food even tinier. Looking at the cake display, we saw that each super expensive dessert was half the size of most other cafes. When we tried to order scones with jam, we were told that scones were not available on weekends unless you made a reservation. We ended up ordering just a large pot of tea to share and sip out of tiny, ornate glasses. Couldn't ask about a refill because we had to leave before we could finish the pot, basically, but I suspect we couldn't get more hot water anyway. The service was really disappointing and unprofessional.
When you order tea, you are presented with a large tray of teas to sniff and decide on a flavour. The menu is on an iPad but since it is so tiny, I wonder why they don't just print it out. Decor is nice enough but not very polished. I'm sure the food is very instagramable.
