  • INFESTED WITH ROACHES!!! The worst place I've ever lived. I was promised that the dog park would be finished in a week, along with the garden and everything else. Boy was I lied to. There was mold and leaks and everything was pretty much broken and not one time did they properly/timely fix anything. My entire year at urban was spent in a construction zone with nothing getting finished till about 6 months in and to top it all off the swat team was there everyday they would literally make us stay in our apartments while they beat peoples doors in looking for criminals... the community is also unstable my first neighbor was mentally ill he constantly threatened me and others. The cops had to be called several times. Urban did nothing. Another neighbor ran through the complex threatening to kill everyone, urban did nothing. They literally encouraged the people who weren't paying rent to act that way. It was insane! Living at urban was like living in a twilight zone. I left in the middle of the night fearing for my life. They hired people living there to work in the office and be in charge of personal information of the residents there. I don't know about you but I really don't want my neighbors having access to my social security number and personal information. Did I mention they are infested with roaches? They won't even get rid of them. They ignore you for weeks and the spray it down instead of actually getting to the root of the problem. Office never tells you when you receive a package or when anything is happening period. They once made one of my neighbors lie about the black mold in her apartment. They said they would give her a new one for not telling but the apartment was right next door and then they allowed a single mom and her mentally challenged daughter to move into the black mold apartment a week later still threatening to kick my neighbor out if she told. The free yoga is always cancelled and the garden is constantly pooped in by dogs and cats. Residents there do not pick up their dog poop nor do they know the difference between recycling and trash. They think composting bread and dog hair is a thing. All I can say is 15th ave and camelback was originally never the best but I promise you urban 188 makes it worst. The office staff is incompetent and insulting they will overcharge you and then look at you crazy when you come down there with the proof of them overcharging you. Attached you will find pictures of roaches, roaches/termite damage and mold. These pictures were taken two days before I moved out. Just run the other way DO NOT LIVE HERE! You're welcome!
