Came here for the first time the other day with two friends who were driving cross-country and just had to try the fish tacos. We were the only folks in the place at 6:00 on a Friday which I thought was strange, especially given the popularity of the restaurant on Yelp! Oh well, more tacos for me!
The girl working the counter was patient and answered our questions about the menu. Two of us decided on the fish tacos (of course), and the third chose a bean and cheese burrito. All three dinners (included rice and beans and one soft drink came to roughly $22.
They have a very clean, well stocked salsa bar complete with spicy pickled carrots (yum), cilantro, and onions. We filled up our little salsa cups and anxiously awaited our food.
About 10 minutes later we had our food. The tacos were huge (so was the burrito) and the tacos were stuffed with cabbage and cilantro. I was a little bit disappointed to find the fish to be tasteless, though light, fluffy, and perfectly fried. I simply poured some salsa on it and it improved the taste ten-fold.
I'd really like to go back and try their ceviche and a couple of other things on the menu. I wasn't blown away by the taco but I'll be back.
