  • Nobody is excited getting their wisdom teeth removed. Just like many, I hate the dentist! When I found out I had to get all four of my wisdom teeth extracted, I was horrified! I have a fear of general anesthesia and worried about not waking up after surgery. I kept delaying for the past nine months and I finally scheduled a consultation and procedure with Dr. Hunter. The staff is wonderful and very welcoming! Dr. Hunter explained that I would have an IV sedation during the procedure. He made me feel there's nothing to be afraid of and I'll be in great hands. Yesterday 10/16 was my surgery day. I was a nervous wreck! Dr. Hunter's assistant Laurie was incredible! She eased my anxiety and made me feel more relaxed. She begins the IV sedation and Dr. Hunter comes in, begins to talk to me and next thing I know it Laurie woke me up that the surgery is done! I'm still recovering from the pain however, I'm very relieved my wisdoms are gone, done & over with! Overall, this has to be by far the best dental procedure I've experienced. I'm so glad I chose Nevada Oral & Facial Surgery. Staff, Dr. Hunter & Laurie were excellent! I recommend this place to anyone that needs their wisdom extracted.
