In a hyper competitive market to optimize the shopping experience for all types of consumers, Babies R Us has innovated itself to be ahead of the curve amidst other baby item retailers.
We came in to exchange a sling for another sling, but realized upon arriving that we had left the receipt back at the apartment. So, we went to the front counter and apologized in advance. The cashiers were incredibly understanding and worked with us. Thankfully since we had the rewards card on us and the phone number in their customer loyalty system, we were able to rectify the requirements to exchange goods.
When it came to exchanging the goods, there was a small difference that had to be paid. That's when I noticed on the pin pad that Babies R Us apparently accepts Android/Apple Pay. So I busted out my phone and paid with a simple swipe; my phone comes with a finger print scanner so I didn't even need to type in a PIN or swipe a pattern to unlock. Easy!
It's nice to see Babies R Us keep up with the times to make the shopping experience more relevant to consumers.
